The prices of condominiums in Singapore has declined for the second consecutive month in September, according to the latest data released by real estate portal SRX Property.

Resale prices of condominiums and private apartments dropped by 0.2 percent in September from the previous month following a 0.3 percent decline in August.
The volume of transactions has also dropped sharply. The number of resales are down by 44.3 per cent from the 1,260 units moved in September 2017.
Prices of non-landed private properties in the core central region and rest of central region dropped by 1.2 percent and 0.8 percent respectively while prices in the outside central region increased slightly by 0.5 percent to a record high since June 2013.
The cooling measures introduced in July has dampened the property market whose resale prices have risen consecutively for the past twelve months.
