The median price difference between the most and least expensive 4 room HDB flat in Singapore is more than $500,000, according to a news report.
The most expensive 4 room HDB flats are found in the central region with a median price tag of $870,000, followed by Queenstown ($738,000) and Bukit Merah ($662,500).
Woodlands and Choa Chu Kang have the least expensive 4 room HDB flats with a median price of only $330,000, more than $500,000 lower than that of a similar-sized flat in the Central region.
Yishun, Jurong West, Bukit Panjang, Hougang, and Bukit Batok are the other estates where the median price of 4 room HDB flats cost below $400,000.
The latest figures released by HDB revealed that resale prices fell by 0.7 per cent last month from August, and by 2.1 per cent compared to a year ago.
While four-room flats recorded a price increase of 0.6 per cent from August, prices for three-roomers and five-roomers dipped by 1.3 per cent. Executive flats saw a drop of 1.9 per cent in prices.
